“Access to financial resources for European industrial revival” 20/11/2015
On November 19, 2015, Danubius University held at the Senate Hall a working meeting “Access to financial resources for European industrial revival”, organized under the patronage of Municipality of Galati. The event was organized by Danubius Academic Consortium, CLDR Association (Local Communities on Danube river) – Romania, Romanian Academy – Biodiversity Centre, Knowledge Management Institute Romania – Knomacons, Spiru Haret University, Danubius University.
At the meeting the following topics were discussed: – The role of clusters in the innovation process to increase the area’s economic competitiveness in Galati and South East region, – The main European funding instruments and related opportunities, – The role of bio-economy for shaping a bio-eco-region in the Lower Danube, – Factories of the Future – funding opportunities through Horizon 2020, – Chance of repositioning partnerships among universities – the SME sector through project Danube University of Knowledge and Innovation, – Lack of adequate institutional lobbying in Brussels.
