Be Ready Workshop

Galati Tehnopol Association participated on September, 23, 2024 at Be Ready Project Workshop on Urban Heat Islands (UHI) organized by Galati City Hall. At this event participated representatives from the academic community, business sector, and civil society.
Topics covered during the event included:
- The Be Ready Project presentation and workshop goals
- The local coalition pact to combat UHI in Galati
- Challenges of climate change and local responses
- UHI risk assessment methodology and self-assessment tools
- Stakeholder commitment to creating a more sustainable urban future
This workshop offered excellent opportunities for mutual learning and collaboration. The event was organized within the project UrBan hEat islands REsilience, prepAreDness and mitigation strategy financed by Interreg Danube Programme.
