“Building the Urban Future of the Danube Region” Conference

The Conference “Building the Urban Future of the Danube Region” organized by the Council of Danube Cities and Regions was held in Vienna between 9th and 10th of December 2013. Both Mayor of Galati, Mr Marius Stan and General Manager of Tehnopol, Mr Ionut Mocanu participated in this conference. The topics of discussions included the presentation of projects of cooperation in the Danube Region, the actions taken to date for implementing the EU strategy for the Danube Region, ways of government involvement in European integration of Danube cities, flood prevention, examples of smart cities – Vienna and Munich.
