The International Composting Week

On May 7, 2025, Galați Tehnopol Association celebrated the International Composting Week together with the students of the Alexandru Moruzi Secondary School in Pechea. During the meeting, a material about composting was presented. The students had the opportunity to learn about composting, compost, materials that can be composted, composting techniques, the importance of composting. After the presentation of the material, the students participated in a practical game in which they selectively collected waste and prepared green and brown materials for composting. The activity was carried out within the project "Smart and innovative solutions for green and clean rural areas in the Black Sea Basin" Smart4Rural BSB464 funded by the (Interreg VI-B) NEXT Black Sea Basin Program.
